TEKsystems is seeking an Embedded Software Developer for a contract-to-hire role that can be remote. You will work on embedded Linux, C++, and Python in a collaborative environment and help advance AI-assisted engineering workflows.

This position is a contract-to-hire based out of Dallas, TX, with remote work options and a pay range of $60.00-$70.00 per hour, subject to eligibility and plan terms. All candidates must work directly for TEKsystems on a W2 basis with no sponsorship now or in the

Qualifications

• Professional embedded software development experience using Linux, C++, and Python.
• Experience building and adopting AI-assisted engineering workflows—agent-driven tooling and autonomous engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the tooling and infrastructure supporting embedded Linux development.
• Build and optimize automated firmware build, test, packaging, provisioning, flashing, recovery, and release pipelines.
• Develop hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and board-farm automation for firmware validation and regression testing.
• Integrate static analysis, automated testing, and quality gates into the software development lifecycle.
• Partner with firmware, hardware, and QA engineers to solve complex technical challenges and continuously improve engineering processes.
• All candidates must submit to a drug and background check.
