TEKsystems is seeking an Embedded Software Developer for a temp-to-perm role that can be remote. The position requires working directly for TEKsystems on a W2 basis with no sponsorship offered now or in the future, and expertise in embedded Linux development using C++ and Python.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering workflows aimed at improving software quality and velocity.

Qualifications

• All candidates must work directly for TEKsystems on a W2 basis and no sponsorship is available now or in the future.
• All candidates must have professional experience providing embedded software development using Linux, C++, and Python.
• Candidates must have experience building and adopting AI-assisted engineering workflows - agent-driven tooling and autonomous engineering processes - that measurably improve software quality and engineering velocity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the engineering tools and infrastructure supporting embedded Linux development.
• Build and optimize automated firmware build, test, packaging, provisioning, flashing, recovery, and release pipelines.
• Develop hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and board-farm automation for firmware validation and regression testing.
• Integrate static analysis, automated testing, and quality gates into the software development lifecycle.
• Partner with firmware, hardware, and QA engineers to solve complex technical challenges and continuously improve engineering processes.
• All candidates must submit to a drug and background check.
