Lilo Social is a full-funnel ecommerce growth agency with a team of 75+. We specialize in paid media, email marketing, and creative services to help DTC brands scale profitably.

As a copywriter focused on email and SMS, you’ll craft conversion-focused messaging, collaborate with designers, and run tests to improve open rates, CTRs, and revenue. This role is fully remote with flexible hours in a collaborative, client-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional copywriting experience with a focus on email marketing, preferably in DTC or ecommerce.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong direct response email copy with proven conversion results.
• Deep understanding of email marketing best practices including subject line optimization, personalization, and deliverability considerations.

Responsibilities

• Write conversion-focused subject lines, preview text, and email body copy for promotional campaigns and automated flows
• Develop concise, action-oriented SMS copy that drives engagement within platform character constraints
• Create copy for lifecycle flows including welcome series, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, and winback sequences
• Collaborate with email designers to ensure seamless integration of copy and design elements
• Adapt your writing to match diverse brand voices while maintaining conversion-focused messaging principles
• Develop and maintain brand voice guidelines and messaging frameworks for client accounts
• Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, body copy, and calls-to-action to optimize performance
• Analyze campaign and flow performance data to identify opportunities and inform copy iterations
• Work closely with retention strategists to align copy with overall lifecycle marketing strategy
• Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards
• Stay current on email marketing trends, copywriting best practices, and direct response principles
• Participate in client meetings to present copy concepts and discuss performance insights
