Job summary

The City of New York’s Department of Finance seeks a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead warehouse activities, manage inventory, and coordinate deliveries across multiple locations. You will supervise staff, ensure accurate receipt and storage of goods, and support related print shop and records functions.

Ideal candidates bring six years of warehousing experience, with at least 18 months in a managerial role, and familiarity with city operations and ERMS integration.

Qualifications

• Six years of full-time warehousing experience.
• At least 18 months in a managerial/administrative role.
• Knowledge of inventory control and shipment processing.

Responsibilities

• Delegate work assignments and ensure on-time completion.
• Organize warehouse inventory and designate storage areas.
• Verify incoming goods against receipts and inspect for damage.
• Coordinate monthly deliveries with DOF contractors and units.
• Assist in distributing Parking, Moving, and Criminal Court summonses.
• Enter Passport requisitions into the system for warehouse needs.
• Oversee tracking and retrieval of agency records requests.
• Support ERMS system deployment and act as Salvage Officer.
• Perform Deputy Director duties when needed.
• Assist with print shop operations and production supplies.
