Lanteris Space LLC, a subsidiary of Intuitive Machines, seeks a Software Verification and Validation Engineer to lead V&V campaigns for flight software and simulation systems from Palo Alto, CA, San Jose, CA, or Houston, TX. Remote work in the US is also possible, with occasional travel.

You will design verification plans, build automated test procedures, and coordinate validation strategies across the life cycle, supporting NASA Artemis programs and related space initiatives.

Competenze

• Design and execute software verification plans for flight software and payload systems.
• Develop tests using HIL/SIL and document results to verify requirements.
• Support V&V lifecycle and validation strategy across test phases.
• Champion test automation to reduce human error and manual intervention.
• Serve as SME for test processes and participate in build delivery reviews.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and data acquisition systems.

Mansioni

• Design and execute comprehensive software verification plans and procedures for flight software, including software on payload and customer furnished equipment (CFE).
• Develop and execute requirement and use case/scenario based test procedures in a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) environment and document test results to ensure that software system requirements are met.
• Support V&V life cycle and technical roadmap definition for flight software testing and defines the overarching validation strategy across test phases.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and champion test automation that reduces human error and manual intervention
• Serve as a subject matter expert and technical authority for test processes and representing organization in Test Preparation and Build Delivery Reviews.
• Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, data acquisition systems)
