Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. seeks a Sr. Transportation Roadway Project Manager to lead highway project delivery from Keene, NH, Burlington, MA, or Boston, MA. Role combines strategic oversight and client leadership with on-site and remote work arrangements.

You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure quality and safety across projects that strengthen communities. PE certification and DOT experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required; PE license is required.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive engineering experience; PM experience 8+ years.
• Strong knowledge of highway design, QA/QC, and transportation regulations.
• Experience with client management, proposals, and project accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of highway project delivery including scope, budget, and schedule.
• Serve as a seller/doer; develop work with clients and marketing plans.
• Lead and mentor other Project Managers and support professional growth.
• Prepare proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and closeout docs.
• Track multiple projects and ensure quality control and compliance.
• Interpret client contracts and manage client relationships; engage regulators as needed.
