Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Highway Project Manager to guide complex infrastructure programs from vision to delivery.

This role oversees planning, design and execution of highway projects across Hartford, CT; Boston, MA; Burlington, MA; or Providence, RI, with remote capabilities and occasional on-site requirements. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and maintain client relationships to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 9 years of industry experience, including 6 years in project management.
• Experience with CTDOT is required.
• Proven ability to prepare proposals, project plans, change orders, and closeout documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal development, set project scopes, schedules, and budgets with multidisciplinary teams.
• Serve as primary client partner, fostering trusted relationships and achieving project goals from planning through completion.
• Develop WBS and coordinate planning across highway, rail, traffic, structural, and environmental disciplines.
• Manage project schedules, approvals, agency coordination, and quality control.
• Oversee project budgeting, forecasting, revenue, and resource management.
• Lead contract administration, consultant coordination, and project documentation.
• Facilitate meetings and provide progress updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support marketing efforts and identify new opportunities for CHA's Highway & Rail portfolio.
