Job summary

J.S. Held in the United States is seeking an Associate Director for the Construction Advisory & Disputes Team specializing in construction claims and dispute resolution.

The role focuses on delay/disruption analysis, change orders, and cost quantification across large projects, with primary responsibility for assisting Delay Experts and preparing expert reports. You will conduct advanced data research, interact with clients, and deliver presentations under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of forensic delay analysis experience in construction/engineering.
• Undergraduate degree in construction management, engineering, or quantity surveying.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Chartered professional status or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years on-site construction experience with engineering or construction firms.
• Excellent oral and written communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Delay Expert(s) as the primary assistant and contribute to forensic delay reports.
• Prepare and analyze delay/disruption studies and claims.
• Perform client interactions and deliver presentations to communicate results.
• Support in promoting construction advisory services to clients.
• Execute data research and provide project programming support on live projects.
