Job summary

J.S. Held is seeking an Associate Director to join its Construction Advisory & Disputes team in the United States. The role focuses on construction claims, change orders, scheduling analysis, and the preparation of expert reports.

You will lead dispute resolution efforts, perform forensic delay analysis, and present findings to clients. Strong initiative, communication, and ability to work under deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of experience in forensic delay analysis in construction/engineering.
• Bachelor-level degree in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying, or similar from a leading university.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Chartered professional status or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years on-site construction experience with engineering or construction firms or construction claims/disputes firms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support delay/disruption analyses for disputes.
• Prepare and contribute to expert reports and presentations for clients.
• Manage data research, client relations, and delivery under tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with Delay Expert(s) and project teams on live projects.
• Promote construction advisory services within the industry.
