J.S. Held LLC is seeking an Associate Director to join the Construction Advisory & Disputes Team in a hybrid role in the United States. The candidate will specialize in construction claims, dispute resolution, and delay analysis, with experience in change orders, cost quantification, and contract review.

The role emphasizes leading forensic delay analyses, preparing expert reports, and presenting findings to clients while managing relationships and meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in forensic delay analysis in construction/engineering.
• Undergraduate degree in construction-related field from a leading university.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Chartered status or equivalent.
• 5+ years on-site construction experience with engineering or construction firms.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Strong project planning fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Lead in construction dispute resolution, delay/disruption analysis, and claims preparation.
• Provide forensic delay analysis and contribute to expert reports.
• Manage client relations and communicate results under tight deadlines.
• Prepare and present findings to communicate results to clients.
