Job summary

SentiLink is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to build core fraud-detection models and expand our risk products. You will own end-to-end model development, from data acquisition decisions to production deployment, delivering impactful insights and features across teams.

You will work on high-visibility projects, collaborate with engineering, risk, and marketing, and contribute to fast-paced product development while expanding domain expertise in identity verification and fintech.

Qualifications

• 4+ years relevant work experience & PhD or 6+ years & Masters
• Proven track record of solving complex business problems with DS/ML solutions
• Experience communicating outcomes to senior management
• End-to-end DS development, including planning, metrics, and production deployment
• Strong practical ML/Stats knowledge and experience with SOTA ML solutions a plus
• Willingness to learn and develop domain expertise in product-focused work
• Experience writing production code and tests
• Detail-oriented and able to make data-driven decisions
• Startup experience strongly preferred
• US work authorization and residence required

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fraud detection models across the full model lifecycle
• Build modeling foundations for Fraud and Financial Risk products
• Research new fraud types and develop new identity verification products
• Iterate with data sources and feature engineering to drive insights
• Write production-ready code enabling real-time decisions
• Design analyses informing data acquisition, product priorities, and marketing
• Collaborate with engineering, risk operations, and data acquisitions to ensure data access
