Job summary

SentiLink is hiring a Senior Data Platform Engineer to own the data infrastructure behind our fraud-detection products. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to build, enhance, and scale the data platform powering our real-time services.

The role emphasizes building secure ETL/ELT pipelines, data observability, and scalable storage interfaces within a distributed cloud environment. Remote US-based, with options for hybrid collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering or related field.
• Proficient in Python or Golang and related technologies and frameworks.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines at scale using distributed processing tech.
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Deep understanding of databases including PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, NoSQL and columnar stores.

Responsibilities

• Build, expand, and optimize data infrastructure to create accurate identity datasets.
• Develop secure, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion processes.
• Design and maintain data observability and ensure data quality and freshness.
• Collaborate with product teams to support data platform needs for new products.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Participate in hackathons and develop proof-of-concepts.
