Job summary

SentiLink is seeking a Senior Applied ML Scientist to build core products and fraud risk models. You will own domain areas, work across teams, and contribute to production-grade data science solutions in a fast-paced environment.

You will develop end-to-end machine learning systems, validate with rigorous analyses, and help drive sales and marketing with data-driven insights. This role offers remote-to-hybrid options across the U.S.

Qualifications

• 4+ years relevant work experience and/or a PhD, or 6+ years with a Masters.
• Proven track record solving complex ML/DS problems with measurable impact.
• Ability to communicate outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
• Experience with end-to-end DS development from planning to production.
• Strong practical ML/Stats knowledge; familiarity with SOTA solutions a plus.
• Willingness to develop deep domain expertise for product-focused work.
• Experience writing production code and tests.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fraud detection models across full lifecycle.
• Build modeling foundational work for Fraud and Financial Risk products.
• Research new fraud types and develop related products around identity verification.
• Iterate with new data sources and inventive feature engineering.
• Write production-ready code for real-time decisions by partners.
• Design analyses to inform data acquisition, product development, and risk priorities.
• Collaborate with engineering, risk ops, and data acquisitions teams.
