Job summary

SentiLink Corp is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to own data infrastructure powering our fraud-detection products. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to build and enhance data platforms, and you will adapt quickly as the tech stack evolves.

The role is remote within the United States, with a focus on scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, cloud-native services, and strong data quality practices. Relevant experience and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or data engineering.
• Proficient in Python or Go and related frameworks.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines at scale with Spark, Hadoop, Kafka or similar.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Deep understanding of databases including PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, NoSQL and columnar stores.
• Experience with containerized data services on Kubernetes or similar.
• Experience in Agile/scrum environments.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Build, expand, and optimize data infrastructure to create an accurate identities dataset.
• Develop and operate secure, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines meeting product requirements.
• Design and maintain a data observability framework for quality and freshness.
• Optimize storage and enable fast data access to data stores.
• Collaborate with product squads to support data platform needs.
• Participate in production incident rotations with the engineering team.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Drive innovation through hackathons and proofs of concept.
• Develop subject matter expertise in identity fraud domains.
