Job summary

SentiLink is hiring a Staff Applied ML Scientist to build core products that identify fraud and support financial risk offerings. You will own your domain, work on high-visibility projects, and collaborate across teams to research new fraud types and develop new products with end-to-end ownership.

This full-stack data science role involves model development, analysis, and production code, with flexible remote-to-in-office options and a strong emphasis on rapid impact and domain expertise.

Qualifications

• 6+ years relevant work experience and a PhD, or 8+ years with a Masters.
• Proven track record solving complex business problems with DS/ML.
• Experience communicating outcomes to senior management.
• End-to-end DS development from planning to production deployment.
• Strong practical ML/Stats knowledge; familiarity with SOTA methods a plus.
• Willingness to learn deep domain expertise for product-focused work.
• Experience writing production code and tests.
• Detail-oriented with business-impact mindset.
• Startup experience strongly preferred.
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-impact, open-ended problems.
• US-based candidates legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fraud detection models across full lifecycle.
• Build foundational modeling for Fraud and Financial Risk products.
• Research new fraud types and identity verification products.
• Iterate with data sources, engineer features, and productionize solutions.
• Write production-ready code for real-time decision making.
• Design analyses to inform data acquisition, product, risk ops, marketing.
• Collaborate with engineering, risk, and data teams to ensure data access.
