Job summary

The University of Denver's Daniels School seeks a Senior Academic Advisor within the Daniels Student Success Center to provide proactive, relationship-centered advising to support student progression, academic planning, and connection to the Daniels experience.

This role manages undergraduate and graduate caseloads, conducts retention-focused outreach, guides degree audits, and collaborates with campus resources to promote timely degree completion and student belonging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in academic advising, student services, counseling, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred in Higher Education, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage student caseload for undergraduate and graduate business students.
• Provide advising to support progression, decision-making, and timely degree completion.
• Conduct retention-focused outreach and follow-up for students needing additional support.
• Provide guidance on academic planning, policies, and campus resources.
• Document advising interactions and follow-up actions accurately.
