Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Regional Traffic Management Center Operator in Bridgeville, PA. The role involves monitoring roadway conditions, coordinating responses, and operating key communication and detection systems across District 11-0.

You will work with state police and county agencies to ensure safe travel, maintain logs, and manage equipment status in a 24-hour center. Telework may be possible after probation, with headquarters reporting to Bridgeville.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience evaluating and coordinating information related to traffic data, incidents or conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor traffic conditions using software and camera systems to observe roadway conditions and identify incidents.
• Control automated signs, sensors, and HOV lane systems to support safe and efficient travel.
• Provide real time traffic updates through message signs, advisory radio, and media communication.
• Coordinate with State Police, adjoining districts, and county agencies to address roadway concerns.
• Maintain detailed logs, closure reports, and equipment status information.
