Qualifications

• Six years civil engineering experience with Engineer-in-Training certificate.
• Five years civil engineering experience with EIT certificate and related associate degree.
• Two years professional civil engineering experience with bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and enhancement of ITS devices and traffic control systems.
• Manage contractors involved in service patrol, security, and ITS operations.
• Facilitate communication with partners, emergency services, and other units.
• Contribute to District ITS plans and support regional planning efforts.
• Participate in incident command activities to ensure effective response.
• Direct scheduling, training and supervision of RTMC personnel.

Education

Six years civil engineering experience + EIT certificate

Five years civil engineering experience + EIT + associate’s degree in civil engineering technology

Two years professional civil engineering experience + bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
