Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Project Manager II to lead strategic initiatives that improve business performance and deliver measurable value. You will partner across Supply Chain, Sourcing, Finance, Accounts Payable, Operations, Technology, and external partners to identify opportunities and drive execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
5 years related work experience required.
In lieu of Bachelor's degree, High School/GED and 9 years related work experience accepted.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives from planning through implementation.
Establish governance structures, operating rhythms, reporting processes, and accountability mechanisms.
Coordinate efforts across multiple business units and stakeholder groups.
Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies.
Facilitate leadership discussions and support executive decision-making.
Ensure initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes.
Evaluate challenges through process and technology lenses, identifying analytics, automation, AI, or system opportunities.
