Duke Energy is seeking a Project Manager II to lead diverse project teams across engineering, controls, and operations. You will manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and risk while coordinating with stakeholders to achieve on-time, within-budget delivery.

This role emphasizes leadership, communication, and strategic thinking to balance priorities, apply the risk-informed ranking process, and ensure policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; 5 years related work experience.
• In lieu of Bachelor's degree and 5 years related work experience, High School/GED with 9 years related work experience.
• Desirable: PMP Certification or related project management certifications or training.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, oversight, delegation, and coordination with internal/external organizations.
• Guide matrixed team members and interface with functional leaders for placement and development.
• Establish and maintain communications among project stakeholders.
• Structure and lead project-related meetings to ensure open communication with stakeholders and management.
• Prepare, communicate or report monthly project status and required communications.
• Plan assigned project scope, schedule, cost, safety and quality aspects.
