Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Project Manager II within the Supply Chain Innovation & Analytics team to lead strategic initiatives that improve performance and value. You will partner across Supply Chain, Sourcing, Finance, and Operations to identify opportunities and drive execution.

The ideal candidate brings strong project management, business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision making; comfortable navigating ambiguity and influencing without direct authority to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 5 years related work experience
• In lieu of Bachelor's degree and 5 years related work experience, High School/GED and 9 years related work experience

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives from planning through implementation
• Establish governance structures, operating rhythms, reporting processes, and accountability mechanisms
• Coordinate efforts across multiple business units and stakeholder groups
• Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies
• Facilitate leadership discussions and support executive decision-making
• Ensure initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes
• Analyze data to identify opportunities and translate insights into recommendations
• Develop project plans, milestones, risk logs, and executive dashboards
• Track realized operational and financial benefits
