Duke Energy is seeking a Project Manager II to lead strategic initiatives that improve business performance and governance across Supply Chain, Sourcing, Finance, Accounts Payable, and Operations. You will partner with technology teams and external partners to identify opportunities and drive solutions from concept to implementation.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, ambiguity navigation, and stakeholder engagement, with exposure to senior leaders and enterprise-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years related work experience.
• In lieu of Bachelor's degree and 5 years related work experience listed above, High School/GED and 9 years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives from planning through implementation
• Establish governance structures, operating rhythms, reporting processes, and accountability mechanisms
• Coordinate efforts across multiple business units and stakeholder groups
• Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies
• Facilitate leadership discussions and support executive decision-making
• Ensure initiatives remain focused on delivering measurable business outcomes
• Evaluate business challenges through both process and technology lenses, identifying opportunities where analytics, automation, AI, or system capabilities can improve outcomes
