Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Coder or in a similar role required.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent coding certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Review and audit documentation to assign diagnosis and procedure codes.
• Ensure compliance with coding practices according to guidelines.
• Collaborate with the billing team to resolve coding issues.

Skills

Proficient in electronic health record (EHR/EMR)

Coding certification (CPC, CCS)

Knowledge of orthopedic terminology

Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

Ability to work independently
