Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, is seeking a dedicated Coder to join our remote team. This role reviews medical records, assigns ICD-10 and CPT codes, and ensures compliance across practice management systems and hospital records.

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• CCS-P or CPC certification preferred.
• Experience reviewing operative reports and coding.

Responsibilities

• Abstract data and assign ICD-10 diagnosis and CPT procedure codes according to guidelines.
• Use PMS and hospital systems to document demographics and services for coding and billing.
• Educate clinical staff on documentation and coding standards to promote compliance.
• Communicate coding questions and resolve discrepancies with providers.
