Job summary

Alliant Credit Union in Chicago seeks a detail-oriented loan funding processor to verify documents, coordinate with underwriters and lenders, and facilitate timely disbursements for funded loans.

You will manage the funding pipeline, audit closing packages, set up automatic payments, and liaise with vendors to ensure lien recording and accurate subordination documents while maintaining compliance with policy and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum - High School or Equivalent.
• Minimum - 1 year Closing, processing, customer service or related.

Responsibilities

• Verify loan documents and coordinate with departments to ensure compliance.
• Manage funding pipeline and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Send loan documents for online and wet signature.
• Review and audit closing documents for accuracy and full execution.
• Coordinate with underwriters, loan consultants and team members for timely funding.
• Set up automatic payments and process loan check reissues.
• Fund direct loans according to policy and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare checks/advances for disbursements and assist with wire transfer.
• Document transactions in the core loan system and handle lien-related tasks.
• Maintain rejection tracker and address defects with vendors.
