Job summary

Vital Care Infusion Services is seeking a Collections Associate to support timely collection of insurance balances and maintain healthy accounts receivable. You will follow up on Tier 4-6 accounts, resolve denials, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize cash flow.

This role is office-based initially, with potential remote work after 120 days based on performance and business needs. Strong communication and healthcare billing experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare revenue cycle, medical billing, or collections.
• Working knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies and payer processes.
• Ability to work remotely after training with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review Tier 4–6 account inventories and follow up on balances.
• Resolve unpaid, underpaid, or denied claims with insurers.
• Submit appeals and supporting documentation as needed for reimbursement.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the patient accounting system.
• Collaborate with Franchise, Intake, Authorization, Billing, and other teams.
