Job summary

Vital Care Infusion Services is seeking a remote Home Infusion Billing Specialist to focus on collecting on claims, reducing denials, and improving revenue cycle performance. You will review EOBs and RA documents, follow up with payers, and coordinate with franchise partners to ensure timely cash collection.

The role requires 2–5 years in home infusion billing, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently from a designated home workspace.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years home infusion billing and/or collections experience required.
• High School Diploma and additional specialized training in intake, pharmacy/medical billing, and/or collections.
• Previous remote work environment is a plus but not required.
• Detail oriented with post-billing and post-payment investigative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review claims with outstanding balances and identify actions to collect revenues.
• Follow up with insurers and patients to collect balances.
• Utilize payer portals for claim disposition.
• Analyze denials and identify trends to improve collection rates and reduce bad debt.
• Identify payor requirements for appeals and submit documents as required.
• Communicate status of collections with franchise partners and other departments.
• Document activity and schedule follow-ups to resolve issues.
• Investigate and verify benefits for pharmacy and medical third-party claims.
