Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Maryland seeks a District Sales Manager to lead Territory Managers across central, southern, and eastern Maryland, including Baltimore, Annapolis, Waldorf, Frederick, and Ocean City. The DSM will set strategy with the Regional VP to drive sales growth and profitability with both existing and new clients.

Candidates must reside within 30 miles of the territory or relocate at their own expense; company-sponsored relocation is not available.

Qualifications

• High School education required.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 2+ years' experience growing profitable sales; 5+ years in foodservice preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual quotas for districts and territories.
• Collaborate with TMs to project sales volume and profit for existing and new properties.
• Recruit, motivate, and develop TMs; foster accountability and teamwork.
• Monitor progress toward goals and provide feedback to TMs for improvement.
• Coordinate with HR on staffing, performance and compensation evaluations.
