Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking a District Sales Manager (DSM) in Bellingham, WA to lead and coach a team of Sales Consultants. You will drive profitable growth, conduct regular coaching, and coordinate district meetings to align on sales strategies and customer engagement.

You will rely on CRM tooling for planning, forecasting, and daily engagement, while promoting national campaigns and ensuring high performance across the district.

Qualifications

• High School education is required.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience growing profitable sales in foodservice.
• 5+ years of foodservice sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance and development of Sales Consultants in the district.
• Conduct 3–5 coaching sessions per week with SCs.
• Lead Friday district meetings to educate and motivate behavior changes.
• Direct customer engagement and expand service options with technology enablers.
• Utilize CRM for planning, forecasting, and daily engagement.
• Drive conversion opportunities and support national campaigns.
• Coach and train associates in consultative selling and Sysco Way to Sell.
• Execute territory planning and manage relationships with top customers.
• Perform administrative duties and analyze sales/gross profit data.
