Job summary

SAIC is seeking Digital Image Processor Specialists to provide full-time on-site support in Arlington, VA with the DoW OGC contract team.

The Specialist will prepare documents for scanning, digitization, and records management, ensure privacy and proper metadata, and perform quality assurance on scanned batches. A High School diploma, active Secret clearance, and two years of imaging/Adobe experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Two years of experience in digital imaging and scanning files.
• Two years of experience with Adobe software.
• Two years of experience handling classified materials.
• Understanding of DoW, Joint Staff, and Military Departments standards.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexible team player and capable of interacting at all levels.
• Motivated, self-starter with ability to work under pressure with limited supervision.
• Strong ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents for scanning, indexing, and records management on-site.
• Prepare documents for digitization by removing fasteners, repairing damage pages, and ensuring legibility.
• Use standard scanner settings based on document type and characteristics.
• Store images and batches with metadata and proper file structure.
• Set up indexes, provide print services, and maintain catalogs of materials.
• Ensure each file is retrievable and usable over time.
• Distinguish classified information from unclassified information during scanning and storage.
• Convert files to electronic form and transfer scanned documents to storage media.
• Perform post-scanning quality assurance to ensure legibility and quality.
