Job summary

Austin Housing is seeking a Business Process Specialist to support the Long-Term Affordability Team in Austin, TX. The role focuses on improving processes, maintaining digital systems, and creating tools for better resident access.

Ideal candidates will plan, analyze data, develop policies, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Telework may be available after training; typical hours are Mon-Fri with some after-hours events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1 year of related experience; experience may substitute education up to four years.
• Experience maintaining or updating internal systems and digital tools used for communication, project coordination, or data management.
• Ability to translate complex program information into accessible, community-friendly materials.
• Strong data analysis and research skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing and closing projects and communicating status.
• Develop and maintain databases to support data analysis and research findings.
• Prepare recommendations for implementation of new or revised policies, procedures, and process changes.
• Write reports summarizing findings and data collection techniques.
