Job summary

Peak Performers, in partnership with a Texas State Agency, seeks a hybrid Business Systems Analyst to assist in the Information, Innovation & Insight Department in Austin, TX. You will provide technical assistance and perform complex systems analysis across the solution lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of experience in business requirements, process mapping, and testing interfaces with legacy systems, and thrives in a collaborative, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience planning, leading, gathering, and analyzing business and functional requirements.
• Experience developing business process maps and performing fit-gap analyses.
• Experience solving complex problems and troubleshooting software systems.
• Experience gathering requirements across multiple program areas with varying business needs.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and capturing design requirements.
• Experience developing Business Requirement Documents and Software Requirement Specifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to the Information, Innovation & Insight Department and business stakeholders.
• Perform complex systems analysis and complete software analysis, design, and test activities for all phases of the solution implementation project.
• Document detailed system requirements, including functional, technical, EIR accessibility, and security requirements.
• Write and groom user stories in collaboration with business owners and technical teams.
• Perform system analysis, including business process maps, conceptual models, objects and use case models, and system architecture diagrams.
• Review, analyze, evaluate, execute, and develop test cases and scenarios based on business and system requirements to ensure traceability.
