AAA Club Alliance is seeking an Automotive Repair Assistant Manager to lead the Car Care Center Service Department, supervise technicians, and drive efficient operations and exceptional customer service. The role emphasizes mentoring staff, coordinating training, and ensuring repairs meet standards.

With a base pay range of $51,287 to $71,992 per year plus incentive opportunities, this full-time position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years in automotive repair, plus

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in automotive repair.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with coaching and developing team members.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer-focused mindset.
• Proficiency with automotive shop management software and diagnostic technology.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support daily operations of the Car Care Center Service Department.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop Repair Technicians, Service Advisors, and sales associates.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Ensure repairs and services meet manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding repair recommendations and timelines.
• Partner with staff to explain repairs, secure approvals, and deliver an outstanding experience.
• Organize and prioritize work to maximize shop efficiency and parts procurement.
• Support store sales growth and profitability through effective operations and service excellence.
• Assist with opening/closing, scheduling, estimates, work orders, and store operations.
• Ensure compliance with AAA Car Care policies, OSHA, MAP, and regulations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment; ensure proper tool maintenance.
