Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in automotive repair required.
• ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Service Department functions and activities at the Car Care Center to ensure efficient store operation.
• Supervise and mentor Repair Technicians and Service Advisors; support hiring, evaluation and training.
• Provide leadership with firm, fair, and consistent management of all associates.
• Verify repairs follow manufacturer guidelines and industry standards; re-test and road test as needed.
• Communicate with customers and explain repair recommendations; obtain approvals when necessary.
• Organize work flow to maximize efficiency in vehicle movement, parts procurement, and overall job functions.
• Open and close store, manage scheduling, and assist at the sales counter as needed.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, MAP, state and hazmat regulations; maintain a safe, clean work area.
