Job summary

AGI Management is seeking an Assistant Controller for a full-time, on-site role based in Louisville, KY, with most work from home. You will own the accounting processes that keep our restaurant portfolio financially healthy and operating efficiently.

Responsibilities include maintaining bookkeeping, processing AP/AR, bank reconciliations, monthly P&L, and coordinating month-end close, with opportunities to assist payroll and tax reporting as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong QuickBooks experience.
• Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Experience preparing monthly financial statements.
• Multi-location bookkeeping.
• Month-end close experience.
• Strong reconciliation skills.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general bookkeeping for multiple restaurant locations.
• Complete Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing.
• Reconcile bank accounts.
• Analyze, interpret, and reconcile the balance sheets.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements.
• Ensure financial reporting packages are completed accurately and submitted by the 11th of each month.
• Complete month-end close.
• Collaborate with restaurant leadership regarding financial questions.
• Participate in process improvements as the company scales.
