Gurstel Law Firm, P.C. is seeking an Affidavits Specialist to manage affidavit requests, draft and compile affidavits, and coordinate with clients and attorneys.

The role involves reviewing files, ordering affidavits, and uploading information to client portals, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and timely processing. The position may offer remote work with some office time, contingent upon management approval.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Legal field certificate or a 2-year degree is preferred; experience may substitute education.
• Background in Retail Claims and Creditors’ Rights Laws preferred.
• Competency in Word, Excel and Outlook is expected.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail is required.

Responsibilities

• Handle all firm affidavits requests following policies and client directives.
• Review files to ensure accuracy for drafting affidavit requests.
• Draft and compile affidavits with meticulous data accuracy.
• Order affidavits as per client requests.
• Upload correspondence and information to clients via portal or email.
• Pull work queues to review pending affidavits requests for next steps.
• Collaborate with Attorneys for proper approvals of affidavits.
• Log executed affidavits promptly when received from clients.
• Follow up with clients to obtain prompt return of affidavits.
• Perform general clerical duties (data entry, scanning, photocopying, etc.).
• Coordinate with Attorneys and Clients to handle affidavits requests.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
