Job summary

The National Psoriasis Foundation is seeking a Manager, Advancement to join the organization’s Advancement team. This role manages a portfolio of individual donors across annual, major, and planned giving, focusing on meaningful donor relationships, strategic moves, and a strong growth pipeline.

Additionally, the Manager leads the individual giving strategy for a signature special event, partnering with the VP of Advancement and colleagues to engage donors, honorees, and supporters while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Five or more years of nonprofit fundraising or related development experience.
• Proven success cultivating, soliciting, and securing significant gifts (five- and six-figure).
• Experience managing a donor portfolio and advancing prospects through moves.
• Familiarity with planned giving principles and legacy giving strategies.
• Experience supporting fundraising initiatives or donor-focused events.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of individual donors across annual, major, and planned giving.
• Identify and qualify prospective donors with capacity and connection to NPF.
• Build personalized relationships and conduct donor visits and virtual meetings.
• Develop moves management plans to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors.
• Maintain a strong pipeline to achieve fundraising goals and support growth.
• Cultivate and secure gifts with a focus on annual and major giving.
• Develop cultivation and solicitation strategies with cross-team partners.
• Identify planned and legacy giving opportunities and advance conversations.
• Leverage events and programs to cultivate relationships and solicit donations.
• Connect donor interests with NPF’s mission and priorities.
