Job summary

National Psoriasis Foundation is seeking a Director, Advancement Operations & Volunteer Experience to provide strategic leadership for development operations and volunteer engagement. This role leads a team that plans and executes high-impact fundraising, stewardship, and engagement events and develops a comprehensive volunteer strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in event management, nonprofit operations, or related fields.
• 4+ years of staff management experience.
• Demonstrated success leading complex events and operational initiatives.
• Strong project management, budgeting, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational planning and execution for development events and programs.
• Manage budgets and fiscal accountability across the team.
• Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, venue management, and event logistics.
• Develop and implement volunteer engagement strategies and metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align fundraising, partnerships, and engagement goals.
• Ensure flawless event logistics and on-site execution.
