Job summary

National Psoriasis Foundation, Incorporated is seeking a Manager, Advancement to oversee a diverse donor portfolio and grow philanthropic support. The role blends frontline fundraising with strategic collaboration with healthcare professionals, volunteers, and internal teams to connect donors with NPF’s mission.

You will lead annual, major, and planned giving, and drive the individual giving strategy for signature events, cultivating relationships and expanding revenue and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Five or more years of nonprofit fundraising or related development experience.
• Experience cultivating, soliciting, and securing significant individual gifts, including five-figure gifts and six-figure solicitations.
• Experience managing a donor portfolio and advancing prospects through identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills with donors, health care professionals, volunteers, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of individual donors and prospects across annual, major, and planned giving.
• Identify prospective donors with capacity and connection to make philanthropic investments.
• Build personalized relationships by understanding each donor’s interests and motivations for giving.
• Conduct donor visits, virtual meetings, and outreach to deepen engagement and advance relationships.
• Develop and execute moves management plans to advance donors through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline to achieve fundraising goals and growth.
