Job summary

Automated Health Systems is seeking an Eligibility Specialist to support the Wyoming Medicaid Customer Service Center Project. This remote role may require occasional pickup at our Cheyenne, WY location, with duties focused on eligibility processing and member service.

You will document interactions, stay current on Wyoming Medicaid policies, and triage calls while delivering respectful, confidential support to applicants and members.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Human Services or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of customer service or healthcare industry experience required.
• Knowledge of Medicaid and Wyoming Department of Health policies preferred.
• Strong communication, computer, and conflict resolution skills.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Ability to perform light physical activity in an office setting.

Responsibilities

• Process eligibility applications and resolve applicant/member issues
• Complete outreach and follow-up activities
• Document interactions in state and project systems
• Triage calls to the appropriate agency or business unit
• Provide respectful, confidential, high-quality customer service
• Stay current on Wyoming Medicaid policies and procedures
• Assist with assigned projects and related duties
