Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• 2+ years in healthcare eligibility or enrollment roles.
• Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security Disability.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as patient advocate conducting advanced eligibility screenings.
• Assist with in-home visits and completion of applications.
• Communicate with patients by phone to gather documents and information.
• Guide complex applications for Medicaid, Medicare and other programs.
• Manage multiple applications, ensuring timely submissions and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with hospitals, agencies and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Support onboarding and training of colleagues as needed.
• Explain options clearly and maintain confidential records per HIPAA.
