Job summary

Savista is hiring an Eligibility Specialist 3 – Team Lead to guide a bilingual Spanish-speaking team delivering eligibility assessments and financial counseling. You will mentor staff, manage daily operations in the absence of the supervisor, and navigate complex cases to secure Medicaid, Medicare, and charity care for patients.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of state and federal assistance programs, and comfort traveling to multiple hospital locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• 3+ years of healthcare eligibility, financial counseling, case management, or patient advocacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and mentor colleagues with onboarding and ongoing development.
• Oversee day-to-day operations in manager's absence and ensure team support.
• Serve as go-to resource for questions, escalations, and complex cases.
• Monitor workflow and prioritize tasks to meet productivity and quality KPIs.
• Conduct advanced screenings with patients to assess eligibility for financial assistance.
• Perform in-home patient visits and outreach to facilitate applications.
