Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring an Enrollment Processor (Eligibility) to join the Eligibility & Billing team in a fully remote role across the United States. This position reports to the Associate Manager, Eligibility & Billing and involves processing enrollment and billing tasks while maintaining accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 1+ year of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential PHI with care.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in admin, customer service, data-entry, operations, healthcare or insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Comfort using computers, multiple systems and standard office tools.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Able to handle confidential member information appropriately.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage routine, deadline-driven work and meet productivity/quality expectations.
• Experience in health insurance or regulated industry.
• Exposure to claims, eligibility/enrollment, benefits, billing, provider data or member records.
• Experience working with high-volume queues.
• Familiarity with HIPAA/privacy practices and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of enrollment and billing processes and regulations.
• Complete enrollment and billing tasks through multiple channels per assignments.
• Manage an assigned caseload while maintaining service, productivity and quality.
• Form working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support leadership by identifying issues via escalation pathways.
• Monitor health of all assigned work-in-progress issues.
• Escalate and resolve issues to ensure timely turnaround times.
• Be an active participant in process improvement initiatives.
• Comply with regulatory standards relating to PHI and applicable laws.
• Other duties as assigned.
