Job summary

Air Education Inc. (Air Reading) seeks a remote tutor to deliver structured, evidence-based reading lessons to elementary students across the United States. Sessions are 30–40 minutes with groups of up to four learners, following a provided curriculum and using Zoom.

You will assess progress, provide feedback, and maintain a positive virtual classroom while adhering to the Science of Reading approach. Training and ongoing coaching are provided for instructional consistency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Authorization to work in the United States and reside in the United States.
• Proficiency with Zoom and common digital teaching tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with elementary students.
• Dependability in meeting schedules and maintaining remote professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured small‑group reading lessons via Zoom for groups up to four students.
• Maintain fidelity to structured literacy and Science of Reading approaches.
• Administer routine assessments, record results, monitor progress, and document outcomes.
• Provide timely feedback to students and school partners to support growth.
• Create a positive, orderly virtual learning environment and promote engagement.
• Participate in required training, orientation, and coaching to ensure quality.
