Job summary

Air Education Inc. (Air Reading) seeks instructors to deliver structured, explicit reading instruction to small groups remotely through Zoom. Sessions run Mon–Fri within Pacific Time, 6:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. PT, typically 30–40 minutes per group of up to four students.

Instructors follow a step-by-step curriculum, maintain fidelity to structured literacy approaches, and participate in coaching and professional development. Remote role, competitive compensation, and ongoing feedback for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Proficiency with Zoom and digital teaching tools; ability to manage virtual classroom technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with elementary students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured, explicit, and systematic phonics and reading instruction to small groups via Zoom.
• Maintain fidelity to structured literacy and Science of Reading approaches.
• Administer routine benchmark and progress assessments and record results.
• Provide timely feedback to students and school partners to support literacy development.
• Create a positive virtual learning environment promoting engagement and equitable participation.
• Participate in training, curriculum orientation, and coaching for instructional quality.
