Job summary

Air Reading is seeking remote contract teachers to deliver small-group reading lessons to elementary students across the United States, using Zoom and a structured, evidence-based curriculum.

Flexible schedule Monday-Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time; sessions typically 30-40 minutes for up to four students, with ongoing coaching and professional development. Compensation up to $24/hour and US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Proficiency with Zoom and common digital teaching tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication and the ability to connect effectively with elementary-aged students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured, engaging small-group reading lessons via Zoom for up to four elementary students, following provided step-by-step curriculum and lesson plans.
• Maintain instructional fidelity to structured literacy and Science of Reading approaches.
• Monitor, document, and report student progress using established assessment tools and provide timely, actionable feedback.
• Create and sustain a positive, orderly virtual learning environment that supports student engagement and growth.
