Job summary

Lighthouse Connections Academy in Michigan is seeking an Elementary Reading Interventionist to support MTSS/RTI frameworks from a home-based or Southfield office. Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certification in the required subject matter and grade band.
• A minimum of 5 years fulltime successful teaching experience in the required subject matter and grade band.
• Michigan Residency preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Customer focused approach
• High degree of flexibility
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Technologically proficient (especially with Microsoft Office products)
• Travel and attendance at in-person events, including State Testing is required throughout the school year, as determined by the school. This may require overnight travel
• Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support families

Responsibilities

• Utilize MTSS/RTI framework to support student learning and plan instructional adaptations.
• Coordinate push-in and pull-out interventions in collaboration with teachers.
• Design and implement MTSS strategies and progress monitoring tools.
• Gather data and organize assessments for progress monitoring across grade levels.
• Collaborate with General and Special Education staff to support eligible students.
• Schedule RTI meetings and provide professional development opportunities.
• Maintain and update RTI resources and documentation.
• Communicate regularly with families and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with school improvement planning and compliance tasks.
