Job summary

Lighthouse Connections Academy is seeking a Secondary Math Interventionist to support MTSS/RTI frameworks for middle/high school students. You will design targeted math interventions, coordinate with classroom and special education staff, and track progress to raise achievement.

This role offers remote work with occasional in-person requirements in Southfield, MI. Qualifications include Michigan Teaching Certification and at least 5 years of full-time teaching experience in math.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certification in the required subject matter and grade band.
• Strong ability to plan and implement MTSS/RTI interventions.
• Experience coordinating SST processes with staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Support MTSS using RTI framework and coordinate push-in/pull-out instruction.
• Develop and implement MTSS strategies to improve Tier 1-3 supports.
• Collaborate with Special Education Directors and SST participants.
• Plan RTI meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain and update RTI resources and data dashboards.
• Communicate progress to families and school leadership.
