Job summary

Stride, Inc. through Highpoint Virtual Academy of Michigan (HVAM) seeks an Elementary Reading Interventionist to support at-risk students via RTI in a fully remote role with some travel for professional development.

This role requires Michigan Elementary Teaching Certification and a bachelor's degree. The candidate will use data to inform instruction, collaborate with teachers, educate parents, and maintain RTI progress data, typically working 9-5 and about 40+ hours per week, from a dedicated

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and active Michigan Elementary Teaching Certification.
Ability to clear required background check and work independently.
Strong data analysis and ability to use data to drive instruction.
Experience with RTI and online teaching platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

Modifies and adapts the curriculum to meet student needs and align with standards.
Collaborates with general education teachers to support target students.
Educates parents on instructional strategies and RTI processes.
Maintains RTI data and progress monitoring for Tier 2 interventions.
Travel up to 20% for professional development and testing, as required.
