Job summary

Lighthouse Connections Academy in Michigan is seeking a Secondary Math Interventionist to support MTSS via RTI frameworks. You will coordinate push-in and pull-out instruction and collaborate with general and special education staff to tailor interventions for Tier 2/3 students.

Based in Southfield or a home office, the role requires a valid Michigan teaching certificate, at least five years of teaching experience, and strong communication skills to partner with families and school leaders.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certification in required subject matter and grade band.
• Minimum of 5 years fulltime successful teaching experience in the required subject matter and grade band.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MTSS RTI push-in and pull-out planning with instructional staff.
• Facilitate SST processes with principals, support staff, parents, and teachers.
• Develop and use MTSS tools (planning forms, SST forms) effectively.
• Gather universal assessment data and develop progress-monitoring assessments.
• Design systems to share MTSS best practices and track Tier 3 support.
• Collaborate with Special Education leadership to facilitate eligibility and compliance.
